Community Care
Lake Region Healthcare Corporation's Community Care Program was established to assist patients who do not qualify for medical assistance and whose annual income is at or below 175 percent of the Federal Poverty Level.
The application is brief and asks for information about family size, employment, income, banking and assets. If patients meet the guidelines, they will qualify for a write-off of 20 to 100 percent of their balance. Patients must apply for Medicaid and be found ineligible before they can qualify for the Community Care Program.
